On May 29th 2016 Pastor Stephen Harvey moved his family from Florida to Northside Baptist Church. He was raised in a Pastor’s home in Lancaster, New York. During a revival at the age of 7 he received Jesus Christ.

Mark 10:14 But when Jesus saw it, …said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

     At the age of 16 they moved to Killeen, Tx. and Stephen Harvey helped his father start a church and later a single men’s military van route. At Pastor John Harvey’s direction he then joined the Air Force Reserves working on the A-10 and then went to Fairhaven Baptist College where he graduated with  a Pastoral Theology Degree. During his time there at Fairhaven he started a personal relationship with God and soon was called to preach during a Christian Education class taught by Roger Voegtlin. Pastor Harvey met Joy Hagaman while going to church during reserve duty in Kokomo, IN. They married in 1994 and are blessed with four children – Ashley, Samuel, Hannah, and Stephen. In October 1999 God called him to serve at Trinity Baptist Church as youth pastor and Associate Pastor for 16 years.  In 2015 Pastor Harvey and Joy also received a certificate in counseling. Pastor Harvey is excited about being at Northside Baptist Church and God has added to the attendance. An orchestra has been started and the Spirit of God has been moving during the services.
